Ijango Letter From Steve Smith Ijango Steve Smith Part1

To our Ijango Family of iJango Registered Customers and Community Ijango Directors

I would like to start with a quote which serves as a mantra at the Ijango Home Office:

"Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing. It is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning."

 -Mahatma Gandhi

As we complete our first month of ijango operations, we have established the foundation of the iJango opportunity. In a very brief period, we have registered over 12,000 ijango customers in the iJango community. And I assure you all: We can do it because we are destined to success simply because we are unwilling to fail.

Our meteoric rise has also revealed issues with the current technology and ijango business terms which are extremely solvable, though time does play a part in the ijango formula that will bring resolve to all of these ijango concerns. You may have already noticed improvements to the ijango portal that include a new improved ijango search functionality, alterations to the header, performance improvements as a result of dramatic database modifications, and much more. We will continue to aggressively address all open items as we move iJango forward, and I will share with you more details on our plans below.

Ijango Customer Referral and Promotion Updates

Being a part of iJango in these early days is not easy, and it is not a role that everyone is equipped to play. Those that endure should be rewarded, and to facilitate the promotional path of our ijango Directors, and as previously communicated in the Message Center of the ijango Back Office, the Ijango Leadership Fast Track Promotion (formerly the July Pre-Launch Promotion) has been extended until October 23, 2009 11:59pm CST. (It is important to note that if you are promoting to Ijango National Community Director (NCD) or Ijango International Community Director (ICD), you must submit an issue ticket through your Ijango Back Office in order to notify the ijango corporate team that you have met the promotional requirements.)

Upcoming Online Ijango Adjustments

As you are aware, the ijango portal was not delivered to you or the company as it was promised, and taking it from its incomplete condition to where it needs to be is an effort we immediately initiated and one that has already gained traction as I mentioned earlier.

First and foremost it was imperative that we assess the condition of the portal that we received it in, build the development team to repair and carry it forward, allow that team to assimilate the infrastructure itself, and create a development strategy to carry us forward.

The above has been completed for the most part, and at this time, I would like to share with you part of the ijango strategy that we have developed for the ijango portal, and the corresponding changes that you will see in the coming month.

This month you will see the iJango Portal's tabs reduced to include sections which are fully functional. This is a direct reflection of our strategy to remove all of the flawed portions of the interface. The areas of the ijango portal that we will be focusing on will be:
·         Search
·         Email
·         News
·         Shopping

This will allow ijango members to provide a service that is without technical issues, and increase the usefulness of the ijango tools and ijango utilities thus allowing you to provide a ijango service that you can be proud to share with your online ijango community. As ijango members move forward with additional value added ijango features, you as a ijango member can be sure that they will be fully functional before being released.

In addition to this streamlining of the ijango portal, this month you will also see a new ijango web presence that allows people to learn about who we are and what our ijango service is all about. This revamped ijango site will combine the information currently located in our ijango ".biz" site, but add the ability for your prospective ijango customers to create their own ijango portal without having to visit someone else's.

These ijango modifications and improvements will be implemented within the coming weeks and I am confident that you will be pleased with the impact they will have on our offering.

AETNA Health Insurance

Please remember to communicate to your ijango community that open enrollment in the iJango/Aetna Insurance Plan ends September 30th. After September 30th, the Plan will only be available to new ijango Representatives within 30 calendar days of his or her enrollment. Please check the Back Office ijango Insurance page under the ijango Resources tab for details.

Ijango Communications

Over the past week, I hope that you have seen the follow through on my commitment to increase our communications to the field. Our ijango Back Office announcements page continues to be updated daily, and if you are serious about staying in the loop with iJango, you need to be logging in daily to this important source of ijango information. In addition to that, the field can expect corporate calls and written communications such as this on a weekly basis. In addition to these communications efforts, we are also initiating a ijango comprehensive recognition program for outstanding contributions to the iJango community.
